Payment Options

We offer a range of secure and convenient payment methods. Please read the notes for each method carefully to ensure your payment is correctly applied to your account and to avoid any unnecessary service interruptions.

Credit / Debit Card

Pay by Card

Pay securely online using any Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card. Payments are processed through our secure payment gateway and reflect on your account immediately.

  • 1Log in to the Tech5 customer portal
  • 2Navigate to Billing → Pay Now
  • 3Select Credit / Debit Card and complete the secure form
  • 4You will receive a confirmation email once payment is approved
Please Note Card payments reflect immediately. If you experience a failed transaction, contact our support team before retrying to avoid a duplicate charge.
Debit Order

Monthly Debit Order

The most hassle-free way to pay — set up a debit order once and your account is automatically debited on your billing date every month. No manual action required.

  • 1Contact our billing team to request a debit order mandate
  • 2Provide your bank account details and sign the DebiCheck mandate
  • 3Your bank will send a confirmation — approve it via your banking app
  • 4Your account will be debited automatically each month going forward
Important Ensure you have sufficient funds on your billing date. Returned debit orders may result in a penalty fee and a temporary service interruption. Contact us immediately if you anticipate insufficient funds.
EFT

Electronic Funds Transfer

Transfer funds directly from your bank account to Tech5. EFT payments are processed manually and typically reflect within 1–2 business days of receiving your payment.

⚠ Critical — Invoice Reference Required You must use your exact invoice number as your payment reference (e.g. INV-12345). EFT payments received without a valid reference cannot be automatically allocated and may cause a delay or premature account suspension. If you are unsure of your invoice number, check your email or contact our billing team before making the payment.
Instant EFT

Instant EFT

Instant EFT allows you to pay directly from your bank account in real time — no waiting period, no manual reference needed. Confirmation is received immediately after payment.

  • 1Select Instant EFT at the payment screen in our customer portal
  • 2Choose your bank from the list of supported banks
  • 3You will be redirected to your bank’s secure login
  • 4Approve the payment — it reflects on your account instantly
Please Note Instant EFT is processed through a certified, secure payment gateway. Tech5 never sees or stores your banking login credentials — authentication happens entirely within your bank’s own secure environment.
Net Cash

Net Cash

Pay your Tech5 account in cash at any participating Net Cash retailer or payment kiosk. Ideal for customers who prefer cash payments or do not have access to online banking.

  • 1Contact our billing team to request your Net Cash payment reference
  • 2Visit any participating Net Cash retailer or till point
  • 3Provide your reference and pay the outstanding amount in cash
  • 4Keep your receipt and send us a copy as proof of payment
Important Cash payments may take up to 24 hours to reflect on your account. Always send a photo of your receipt to our billing team at [email protected] to avoid any interruption while the payment processes.
PayFast

PayFast

PayFast is one of South Africa’s most trusted online payment gateways, supporting multiple payment methods — card, Instant EFT, and more — all within a single secure checkout.

  • 1Select PayFast at the payment screen in our customer portal
  • 2Choose your preferred method within the PayFast checkout
  • 3Complete the secure payment
  • 4A confirmation email will be sent to you on successful payment
Please Note PayFast payments reflect immediately. If you have not received a confirmation email within 10 minutes, contact our billing team to verify the payment status before attempting to pay again.
Zapper

Zapper

Pay quickly using the Zapper app on your smartphone. Zapper links to your card or bank account and lets you scan and pay in seconds — no card swiping, no cash, no hassle.

  • 1Download the Zapper app from the App Store or Google Play
  • 2Link your card or bank account within the app
  • 3Scan the Zapper QR code on your invoice or in the customer portal
  • 4Confirm the amount and approve — payment reflects instantly
Please Note Ensure your Zapper account is linked to an active payment method before scanning. Zapper payments reflect immediately and you will receive an in-app confirmation on success.
